1. Sheffield High Athletics Teams Take 7 Trophies in 6 Days!

    During the course of a single school week, Sheffield High School athletics teams have won seven major trophies as well as achieving many individual successes.   2. Sheffield High's Former Pupils and Staff Enjoy Summer Reunion

    Over 80 former SHS pupils and staff returned to school recently to catch up with friends and teachers. Many alumni were celebrating an anniversary since leaving the school and the classes of 1943, 1953, 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993 and 2003 were all represented. Guests had a chance to catch up with friends and our Year 8, Year 9 and Sixth Form School Ambassadors did a fantastic job of showing them around the school.   3. Sheffield High Girls Get Those Top GCSE Grades!

    Once again students at Sheffield High School are celebrating GCSE success. With an overall pass rate of 97% A*-C, 67% of grades awarded to girls were A*/A and over 38% of results were at A*. This compares with national figures where 68.1% of candidates achieved grades A* to C and 6.8% gained an A* pass with 21.3% of candidates achieving either A* or A grades.

  4. Superb A-level Results Round Off an ‘Excellent’ Year

    Sheffield High School is celebrating a stunning set of A-level results with over 50% of all subjects at A* and A grades. The national picture shows that only just over a quarter of exam entries – 26.3% – were given A* or A grades. These excellent results follow on from a whole school inspection recently in which the school was given ‘Excellent’ grades across the board.
