Snowdrops is a leading preschool in Sheffield for boys and girls aged 3-4. We are a private nursery, associated with Sheffield Girls'. Our aim is to provide children with an enriched learning environment, where they can grow in confidence and independence, preparing them not only for school, but for life.

Our preschool children receive a first-class education through exploration, adventure, creativity and imagination with support from specialist teachers in music, performance, art, physical education and modern foreign languages, while also following the key themes of the Early Years Foundation Curriculum.

Snowdrops pupils are happy, inquisitive children who enjoy an exciting mix of self-directed activities and teacher-led sessions amongst large, airy open spaces, varied learning zones, play equipment and free-flow outdoor space.

Private Nursery in Sheffield

Snowdrops is an independent, private nursery in Sheffield. This allows us to give your child an enriched preschool education that expands on the Early Years Foundation Curriculum. We follow the key themes and offer additional specialist teaching that goes beyond the standard nursery day. Our preschool children enjoy trips to local green spaces including the Botanical Gardens and Ecclesall Woods, as well as receiving ballet, music, PE and Spanish teaching from specialists in different subjects.

We value personal growth and development over conventional learning. At this young age, we believe it is essential to encourage inquisitive minds, resilience, and joy in discovery. We encourage children to grow at a personal level to ensure they have the foundation skills necessary to succeed in their future education.
