Year 12 Young Enterprise Team, Palate, entered a social media impact competition before half term and came runners up out of over 50 entries from around the whole of the UK. Team member Charlotte Wainwright explains what they did:
‘As a team, we have been working together to update our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts regularly throughout our Young Enterprise journey so far and for the competition we had to show how we'd used social media to secure exposure for our product,’ she said.
‘As our entry for the competition we created a short video showing how we have used social media to promote our company and product - an around the world cookbook - and interact with our customers. Across all of our social media accounts we've managed to gain over 250 followers, 550 likes and 2500 impressions in just 4 months which has allowed us to create a large, loyal community spread across 6 different time zones!’
