Sheffield Girls' students feature in Young Artists exhibition
On the 28th of April, our paint-tastic Sheffield Girls’ Infant and Junior pupils exhibited at this year's Sheffield Young Artists exhibition. This city wide art event organised by the Abbeydale Rotary Club, is a fabulous opportunity for community creatives to showcase their talents in the heart of the city.
On the afternoon of the exhibition, a vibrant group of our infant and junior pupils ventured off downtown to admire their work. They were able to meet with the organisers, and share their wonderful creations with family and friends.
The exhibition had an impressive turnout with over 900 artworks to admire - this was a huge increase on last year’s 500 pieces! It was a fantastic event, revealing the talented artists we have in our school and across the city.
We were mightily impressed with our mini Monet’s, and can’t wait to see more paint brush magic as a selection of their work will also be included at the Art in the Park event in Sheffield Botanical Gardens this September.
Thank you to all of our wonderful young artists. We’re so proud of you!
