Insight into Teaching (1)
Sheffield Girls’ is delighted to launch its 2018 Insight Into Teaching programme. The programme is open to all and will consist of a fully immersive five-day experience at Sheffield Girls’ including:

Teacher, form and department classroom experience (Infant, Junior and Senior School)

Full training day including sessions on what makes an outstanding teacher and surviving your first year in teaching

Employability Skills Clinic guided by a dynamic, education-led life coach

Highly interactive think-tank session on the most forward-thinking teaching and learning techniques
The programme is designed to provide potential teachers with a real taste of the classroom and a greater appreciation of the wider world of education. It is aimed at students currently applying for a PGCE or considering teaching as a career (either primary or secondary).
