Head of Partnerships at Community Shop and Sheffield Girls’ Alumna returns as part of Live Lunch careers programme
This week we were delighted to kick off this year’s Live Lunch programme with a visit from Charlotte Slack, Head of Partnerships at Community Shop (Company Shop Group).
Our Live Lunch Programme provides students with the opportunity to hear from alumnae about their career pathways and top tips for the world of work.
Charlotte spoke to our Sixth Form students about her role at the Community Shop, a social enterprise which provides its members with vital access to discounted food, as well as life-changing learning and development programmes. Charlotte also talked about her decision to change paths whilst at University studying European Theatre, choosing to pursue a career in buying and account management at the Company Shop Group, the UK's leading redistributor of food and household surplus products. Charlotte said, ‘Don't be afraid of change. Although it can be difficult, have a positive outlook and you can achieve what you want. Follow your own path and figure out what works for you.’
