Alumna shares employability tips with Year 12

Last week Sheffield Girls’ alumna and Global Managing Partner at Kennedys, Suzanne Liversidge delivered a fascinating and inspiring talk to our Year 12s. Suzanne spoke to our Year 12s about being true to yourself, not taking no for an answer, and continually striving to be the best version of yourself.

Appointed Managing Partner in 2019, Suzanne also leads Kennedys’ Women in Insurance Network, is an active member of Link (the professional network for LGBTQ+ colleagues in the insurance sector), and was previously President of the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce. She was named Sheffield Business Woman of the Year and was included in the 2020 The Lawyer’s Hot 100 list.

Suzanne’s talk was part of a wider day focused on employability. We believe our pupils should feel confident in their career aspirations, and events like this reinforce to our girls that they are capable of anything they choose to work towards.

We’re incredibly proud of our alumnae and the lives they lead once they’ve finished their schooling years with us, and it’s invaluable to connect current and previous pupils together to share experiences.
