A Welcome Message from the Head

I am thrilled to be leading Sheffield Girls' Infant, Junior and Senior School and to be working alongside the remarkable girls and dedicated staff who form our wonderful school community.

At Sheffield Girls' we are proud to deliver teaching that is engaging, inspiring and challenging. Our ethos is one which is based on mutual respect, and one where every girl is valued for her individual talents and interests. We go over and above to support our girls to achieve the very best they can, whilst also expecting them to take responsibility for their learning.

We work hard to provide girls with an all-round education, with expert teachers and a co-curricular programme which is second to none. We talk to girls about real-life issues, providing access to authentic speakers and experience. At the same time, we are outward-facing and strive to make a difference to our wider community. We want to enable our girls to explore, nurture and be fearless in realising their potential and fulfilling their purpose.

Above all, we smile, show warmth and care about each and every one of our pupils.

I am really looking forward to getting to know the girls and the extended school community over the coming weeks and months and I am so excited to take Sheffield Girls’ into the next stage of its journey.
