Mr Chris Spick
Teacher of Business & Economics
Mr Spick is an experienced Business teacher and a specialist in the social science of Economics. He has a background in retail and marketing and is also one of two Heads of Sixth Form.
Ms Nikki Bamforth
Head of Sociology/Teacher of Religious Studies
Ms Bamforth has taught Religious Studies since 1998 and thoroughly enjoys opportunities to develop and discover new ideas, opinions and identity. She is also Head of Sociology.
Mr James Speed
Head of Geology
Mr Speed teaches Geology at A-Level. He also runs the Y7/8 and Junior School Geology Clubs, and leads school trips to the Peak District, Pembrokeshire and Iceland.
Miss Katharine Salmon
Head of Religious Studies
Miss Salmon heads the Religious Studies department, leading the curriculum and promoting the study of religions across the year groups. She also coordinates fundraising as Head of Charities.
Miss Claire Fowler
Head of History and Politics
Miss Fowler leads the History and Politics departments, and enjoys helping girls to think critically about the past. She previously worked at Weston Park Museum and Chatsworth House.
Mrs Megan Neve
Teacher of Religious Studies
Mrs Neve teaches Religious Studies and is a Year 7 form tutor. She studied at Cambridge and also conducted educational research as a Farmington Scholar at Homerton College.
Mrs Kairen Andrews
Head of Art
Mrs Andrews leads the Art team, overseeing the development of a challenging and exciting Fine Art curriculum. Before teaching, she worked as a freelance illustrator in London.
Mrs Chris Heery
Head of Drama
Mrs Heery is responsible for curricular and co-curricular Drama, including directing the school play. She is also Head of Year, responsible for the pastoral care of Year 7.
