Beginning school is a major event in the life of a four-year-old.

At Sheffield Girls', we aim to bring out the best in all our girls and encourage them within a happy, structured and caring community to develop their personal and intellectual talents to the full and to leave school as strong, open-minded, confident young women.

We focus on providing excellent pastoral care, while at the same time creating challenging opportunities for all of our girls. The joy of learning and the fun of childhood exploration are shared throughout a welcoming community where every girl is encouraged to try everything and do her personal best.

Our Infant School is based at 266 Fulwood Road which is home to our Pre-School, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 girls. The facilities on this site include the Infant School Library, Music Rooms, Science Room and Art room where specialist teaching takes place. In addition our outdoor spaces are filled with play and learning equipment so learning can flow freely between the indoors and outdoors.

I hope this website provides you with all the information you need but the best way to really get to know us is to see the school in action. I would encourage any parents considering a place at Sheffield Girls' to come and meet us and have a look at our outstanding school. Please contact our Registrar, Louise Froggatt l.froggatt@she.gdst.net to arrange this.
