    On Friday 10 March, Mrs Lloyd-Hughes and Year 11 student Anya Grayson travelled to Notting Hill & Ealing High School to take part in the final of the highly regarded GDST Public Speaking Competition, The Chrystall Prize. We are very proud to report that Anya was crowned champion!

    Within five months of being offered a place on the ‘Tomorrow’s Engineers EEP (Elite Engineering Programme) Robotics Challenge’, our team of enthusiastic Year 7 and 8 students gained an array of skills and knowledge about robotics, programming, space and engineering which was demonstrated at the Regional Competition on 6th March in ‘The Silk Mill’, Derby.

    Over 300 people gathered on the evening of Tuesday 28 February for the launch of Sheffield High School for Girls ‘A Celebration of the Arts’, with parents of the girls and friends of the school gathering to enjoy a programme of music, dancing and gymnastics showcasing the amazing talents of the pupils at Sheffield Girls' Junior & Senior School and Ashdell Prep.

  9. Medic Mentor - Motivating Medical Minds

    Lucky sixth former, Teresa Snook in Year 12, has been selected out of 60 other candidates to become a Medic Mentor School Society leader. Teresa has been formally invited to attend the National School Society meeting being held in early March at Pimlico Academy, London.

  10. Linguists from five schools join us for our Y9 Languages conference

    Keen Year 9 linguists from King Edward VII, Tapton, King Ecgbert, Fir Vale and Notre Dame schools, about 140 students in all, were invited to join us on Thursday 9 February for an exciting new Languages Conference presented by Sheffield GIrls’ in association with the University of Sheffield’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
